Many countries around the world, have set ambitious renewables targets, and offshore wind development is set to play a major role in global decarbonisation. Despite ambitious targets, the ERM COP27 Offshore Wind report shows that the majority of countries are currently on track to miss their offshore wind targets with challenges in policy, permitting, infrastructure, and supply chain straining development timelines, and restricting finance into the industry.
