At its highest level, sustainable development is at the core of the work of the International Copper Association (ICA). Our mission is to bring the global copper industry together to develop and defend markets for copper and make a positive contribution to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. ICA members participate in the Copper Mark, a credible assurance framework demonstrating responsible production practices and the copper industry’s contribution to UN Sustainable Development Goal 12. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., ICA has offices in three primary regions: Asia, Europe and North America. ICA and its Copper Alliance® partners are active in more than 60 countries worldwide. ICA and its members understand the time for climate action is now, and we are excited to share the industry’s commitment to operating responsibly.
