About the Organiser
Climate Action is a mission-led business that has worked at the intersection of climate change policy, innovation and sustainable finance for the last 15 years. Our goal is to accelerate the transition to a global green economy by helping to achieve the aims of the Paris Agreement and the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Our digital and live event platforms build tangible partnerships between business, government, UN agencies and NGOs with 120,000 subscribers globally.
For the last 12 years, Climate Action has run the Sustainable Innovation Forum (SIF) at COP - widely recognised as the largest multi-stakeholder side event at the annual UN Climate Change Conference - with a strong focus on the role of the global business community in creating the systemic change we need.
The Innovation Zone concept was conceived and created by Climate Action at COP26 and we are delighted to be building on its success with a bigger, more impactful Climate Action Innovation Zone at COP27. Please join us and be part of the action!
Accelerating solutions at UN climate change conferences since 2010
“Thank you Climate Action for your remarkable organisation, communication and professionalism. We are proud of our collaboration with you on the agenda of the Sustainable Innovation Forum, thank you for making it a great success. We look forward to more successful events towards COP and beyond.”
Zitouni Oulddada, Deputy Director, Climate & Environment Division, FAO
“Climate Action brings people together who are passing each other like ships in the night in COP or sort of bumping into each other in the course of different initiatives. But this is an event that has a sustained and thoughtful programming around what are the multiple perspectives that people are considering.”
Kirsten Dunlop, CEO, Climate-KIC
“Everyone at UPS is incredibly happy with what came out of the SIF, both in terms of the connections and the media resources that were created, so thank you to the whole Climate Action team for making a huge success of the event.”
Zach Baden, International Sustainability, UPS
“We see the exchange in this forum as essential to learn from a broad community of thought leaders. The BMW Group is proud to be once again part of the SIF.”
Dr. Thomas Becker, VP Sustainability and Mobility Strategy, BMW Group
