A vital goal of the Innovation Zone is to provide space for mission-led organisations to showcase solutions and results which catalyse the collaborations needed to halve global emissions by 2030. 

We do this by offering turnkey, low-cost sustainable event space for organisations including companies, governments, cities and regions, financial and educational institutions, NGOs and IGOs

Hybrid Conference Facilities

The Climate Action Innovation Zone’s main conference area has two plenary rooms, each seating 500 people in theatre setup, a breakout room and speaker lounge. The impressive 2,000m² conference space is available to hire on a daily basis and includes:

  • 600m² space

  • Seating 500 people in theatre setup or 320 cabaret style

  • 14m x 4.5m stage and 10m x 3m LED wall

Global Goals Room

The 120m² Global Goals Room has the capacity to seat up to 80 guests in a banquet setup & 120 reception style. It is available to hire for a a 1/2 day or full day (7:00am - 14.00pm / 16.00pm - 22.00pm - subject to availability) and includes five-star catering for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 

Key features include: 6m x 3m stage, 6m high ceilings, giant LED wall and basic AV setup, plus top-quality catering with a range of food and drink.

The conference room provides a turnkey solution for organisations wishing to host their own event for up to 120 guests.

Glasgow Breakthroughs Room

The 140m Glasgow Breakthroughs Room has the capacity to seat up to 90 guests in a banquet setup & 140 reception style. It is available to hire for a a 1/2 day or full day (7:00am - 14.00pm / 16.00pm - 22.00pm - subject to availability).

Drinks and light catering options are available. Key features include: 6m x 3m stage, 6m high ceilings, giant LED wall and basic AV setup.

Climate Action Stage

The Climate Action Stage provides a platform for organisations tackling the world’s greatest challenge – climate change, and accelerating solutions for a more equitable and sustainable world.

The 80-seater auditorium will host daily content including keynote addresses and panel discussions from dynamic thought leaders from across academia, business, government and civil society.

Climate Challenge Lab

The new Climate Challenge Lab provides an energetic space to host meetings, receptions and roundtable discussions for up to 30 (seated).

This exciting hub has been designed to encourage open, dynamic discussion that explores real, tangible solutions to our most pressing climate challenges. It moves away from a conventional roundtable set-up, featuring chairs and smaller tables in a fluid formation of your choice instead. A screen and whiteboard will be provided.

Organisations can host meetings, gatherings and roundtables, of their choice or from our dynamic roundtable programme. Sessions will be managed and moderated by the organisation that hires the space.

This space can be booked for sessions of 60, 90 and 120 minutes, early morning to evening. Light refreshments can be provided.

Private Chalets

Chalets provide your organisation with a dedicated, flexible basecamp with private meeting, lounge and dining space and access to superior toilets. 

Chalets offer a choice of three different layouts with either one or two meeting rooms and refreshment facilities. Meeting rooms are designed to maximise the space available and are provided with turnkey amenities including: lighting, furniture, HVAC, stocked bar, WiFi, LED screen, water and coffee.

In-chalet catering will be provided by the Tonino Lamborghini Hotel. Additional F&B costs apply. Private Chalets are allocated 200 guest passes for external guests to enter the Innovation Zone meeting rooms, subject to pre-registration.

Meeting Rooms 

​​​​​​Private meeting rooms provide a quiet, private space to meet, in close proximity to the Green and Blue Zones.

The 6m x 4m meeting rooms come furnished with a meeting table and eight chairs, a coffee machine, hot water, chilled drinking water and a stocked fridge with soft drinks. In-room catering is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner at additional cost. Meeting rooms will be air-conditioned and come with a floor-mounted LCD screen.

Additional AV and furniture can be ordered at additional costs. Meeting rooms are allocated 50 - 100 guest passes for external guests to enter the Innovation Zone meeting rooms, subject to pre-registration.
