The financial sector will play a critical role in enabling an inclusive and just transition to a net-zero global economy. According to a recent IPCC report, annual net-zero investments will have to grow three to sixfold by 2030.  

The Council for Inclusive Capitalism, Ceres, and the World Benchmarking Alliance will host a finance and investor-focused lab, utilizing the Council for Inclusive Capitalism’s Just Energy Transition Framework for Company Action and its mapping to CA100+/Ceres and WBA market indicators, as well as recommendations from CA100+’s investor engagement on Just Transition to spur action and collaboration across financial institutions on Just Transition.  

This session brings together financial institutions and other stakeholders, to strategise and develop collaborative approaches to financing a just transition.
